Queens University Belfast
If you live in Belfast you will know the outside of Queens University well but have you ever decided just to stop by like many of our visitors and tourists now do and enjoy the QUB experience. Of course during term time you may not be that welcome but whether you are a student or not you shouldn't miss out on this great Belfast City attraction.
Situated on the edge of the city centre in South Belfast, Queens University is the central hub for Botanic, Lower Ormeau, the Holylands and Stramillas. The main campus is situated next door to two other city attractions, the Botanic Gardens and the Ulster Museum which is located within the gardens. So if you are thinking of a day out, why not bring your camera and enjoy a few Kodak moments visiting all three tourist attractions.
Below are just a few photos of life in and around the campus, from the breathtaking architecture of the main Queens University Buildings, the Presbyterian Church Union Theological College, the new McClay Library, the QUB campus and the Queens student union building. From the statue of Galileo in the grand entrance hall of Queens, to its courtyards, stonework, stained glass windows, grounds and momuments - it time to become a tourist for a day and enjoy one great City - Belfast
