Belfast Titanic Display

The City of Belfast has always been proud of its maritime heritage which has see ships such as the RMS Titanic and RMS Oceanic built at East Belfast ship builders Harland & Wolff.

The displays outside Belfast City Hall show photos of how the city use to look, its people and the times in the early nineteen hundreds when H&W was at its peak and ship building was at the heart of Belfast.

The display includes photos of Edward J Harland founder of the world famous shipyard and photos of Lord Pirie its chairman and former Lord Mayor of the city. Also shown are the drawing rooms where ships were created on paper at the Titanic ship builders.

Whilst the display has moved on the Drawing Rooms and other attractions are available to see at Belfast Titanic Quarter.
