Victoria Square Belfast
Victoria Square is Belfast's premier shopping centre in the heart of the city and spreads its retail experience over four floors. The centre combines high end commercial retailers with exclusive residential and leisure space. Opened on the 6th March 2008 its viewing dome has become a major visitor attraction, providing dramatic views over the city. It is one of the most expensive property developments ever undertaken in Northern Ireland and opened when the UK was experiencing its financial and banking crisis. The shopping centre is unusual as it has no doors in and out of the centre but its 'streets' are covered by a glass canopy.
Victoria Square is a major Belfast regeneration project that replaced the old Victoria Centre and surrounding streets. Now a days the Centre is one of two in the heart of the city, the other being Castle Court which is located at Royal Avenue, a more traditional shopping street in Belfast.
The Square's main anchor store is the House of Fraser with the Odeon Cinema providing an entertainment anchor. The other 97 stores include Apple, 3, Allsaints, Boss, Ecco, Dune, EE, Fossil, Guess, Hobbs, Hollister, H&M, Calvin Klein, Boux, Mango, Pull&Bear, O2, Monsoon, Reiss, Replay, Levis, JD, Karen Millen, Jays Brow Bar, Q Park, Remus Uomo, T M Lewin, River island, Warehouse, Superdry, Ted Bake and many others...
Restaurants include Prezzo, Ivory, Wagamama, Pizza Hut, Yo Sushi, McDonalds, Costa, Five Guys, Nandos, Pizza Express & many more...
